Brief Personal Biography of the Instructor


   Kenneth Vogel is a retired Police Captain with thirty years of service with a municipal police agency. During his career he was the commanding officer of a regionalized composite SWAT team and the Police Training Bureau. He is in possession of a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree of Science degree in Administration.
   During his law enforcement service he had successfully completed over fifty formal training schools presented by the U.S. Federal, State and County government agencies as well as private sector organizations that concern tactics, defensive firearm applications and use of force subjects.
   He is the sole architect of all AVOPS courses and is the holder of a Copyright from the United States Library of Congress for this discipline. He also has extensive international teaching and training experience. He has provided training and consultation throughout the USA and on five foreign continents for governmental agencies of the police, military and security forces, as well as private corporations, from twenty-five separate nations in multiple subject areas concerning specialized use of force.
   He is currently on staff as a law enforcement consultant with Military Professional Resources Inc. He also functions as an adjunct staff firearms instructor and Consultant for the CADO Group LLC. He may be contacted via telephone at 941-833-5555 and/or email at ken@avops.us
